Key & immobilizer programming.
NASTF VSP credentialed.
Spot-On is NASTF Vehicle Security Professional credentialed — the certification that authorizes lawful access to manufacturer security gateways for key generation, immobilizer programming, and security module work. We dispatch this work mobile across the San Antonio metro, remote where the platform allows, and accept mail-in immobilizer modules for bench-level service nationwide. All-keys-lost, add-a-key, immobilizer reset, used-module adaptation.
Every common immobilizer family.

Legal access to security gateways post-2008.
Modern vehicles enforce security gateways for key and immobilizer work. Without NASTF Vehicle Security Professional credentialing, a shop cannot lawfully access these systems.
- Active VSP registrationSpot-On's lead technician holds an active NASTF Vehicle Security Professional registration.
- Lawful security accessVSP registration authorizes secure data release on participating OEMs — immobilizer programming, key generation, gateway unlocks.
- In person onlySecurity-gated work is performed at our shop or mobile at your bay. We do not perform remote NASTF security transactions.

Dispatched by band across the ring.
Key and immobilizer dispatch runs from our shop at 4715 N Stahl Park, Suite 105, across the San Antonio metro. Schertz, Selma, Universal City, Helotes, Converse, Leon Valley, Live Oak, and Cibolo are inside our included 20-mile travel radius, so trade dispatch carries no trip charge. Boerne, New Braunfels, Seguin, Floresville, Pleasanton, San Marcos, Bulverde, Castroville, Canyon Lake, Bandera, Devine, and Lytle are beyond our 20-mile included travel radius; a $2.50/mi round-trip charge applies. Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Hondo, Lockhart, Luling, Gonzales, Pearsall, and Jourdanton are beyond our 20-mile included travel radius as well; a $2.50/mi round-trip charge applies. At this distance most shops choose remote J2534 programming or mail-in bench service; mobile dispatch is available and quoted per mile. For key work that usually means mailing in the immobilizer module for bench service, because NASTF security transactions are performed in person, not remotely. The included 20-mile radius is measured by road from our shop; we confirm at booking whether a Marion, La Vernia, Spring Branch, St. Hedwig, Grey Forest, Fair Oaks Ranch, or Elmendorf address falls inside it or carries the $2.50/mi round-trip charge. Vehicle owners in any of these cities are welcome too — in-shop, by appointment, on our retail key & immobilizer services page; we do not dispatch mobile service to vehicle owners.
Do you dispatch all keys lost jobs to shops?
Yes. All keys lost is a mobile dispatch job within the San Antonio metro because the NASTF secure-data transaction and key generation happen in person at your bay. Send us the year, make, platform, and immobilizer family (EWS, CAS, FEM, EZS, SKIM, PATS, VATS, Smart Key) when you book so we arrive with the right tooling, and have the customer's ownership paperwork ready for the VSP record.
Can you add a key at my shop for a customer with one working key?
Yes. Add a key is the simplest dispatch on the board: the vehicle keeps its existing keys, we cut and program the spare alongside them, and the immobilizer stays as delivered. Have the working key in hand at the bay, the customer's ownership paperwork on file for the NASTF record, and the vehicle parked where we can reach the OBD port and ignition.
What immobilizer services do you offer when the security light stays on?
A security light with a crank-no-start or no-crank means the immobilizer and key are no longer in agreement, or a module on the anti-theft circuit was replaced without adaptation. Our immobilizer services cover diagnosis of the fault, immobilizer reset and anti-theft reset, used-module adaptation of a donor EWS, CAS, EZS, or BCM to the existing keys, SKIM, PATS, and VATS relearn, and immobilizer disable where the platform supports it.
Do you program push-button smart keys and proximity fobs?
Yes. Push-button start platforms — Toyota Smart Key registration, Honda HDS, Nissan NATS, Hyundai/Kia PIN learning, BMW CAS/FEM, Mercedes EZS/FBS — are programmed mobile at your bay under our NASTF VSP registration. We handle both add a key and all keys lost on smart-key systems. Where a platform requires a dealer-only token or an ESL/EZS repair first, we tell you before the truck rolls.
