Spot-On Automotive Diagnostics was founded in April 2021 in San Antonio, Texas, with one focus: the deep diagnostic and programming work most general repair shops — and frequently even local dealerships — can't perform.

We specialize in module programming, ADAS calibration, key & immobilizer services, EEPROM & bench-level repair, EV/hybrid diagnostics, and remote J2534 programming. Particular strength in European platforms — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, the VAG group, and exotics — where platform-specific knowledge matters most.

We run manufacturer-authentic and OEM engineering-level software the dealer doesn't have access to. We're NASTF VSP credentialed, ASE Master certified, and factory-trained across major OEMs.

Independent repair shops in the San Antonio metro routinely sublet their Tesla, Land Rover, Jaguar, Porsche, and diesel/heavy-duty work to Spot-On rather than send it to the dealer — because the credential stack and tooling required (NASTF VSP, Toolbox 3 with Service Mode+, JLR Pathfinder, PIWIS, Cummins INSITE, Duramax GDS2, Powerstroke FDRS) is rare to find under a single roof in San Antonio.
