Module cloning
& virginizing.

Spot-On performs bench-level module cloning and virginizing for trade partners across the San Antonio metro on-site, plus mail-in service nationwide US and Canada. Cloning transfers VIN, mileage, immobilizer data, and calibration from a failed module onto a donor; virginizing resets a used module to factory-virgin state so it can be re-coded to a new vehicle. NASTF VSP credentialed for security-gated procedures.

Cloning, by platform.

When a module fails and a like-for-like replacement can be sourced, cloning is often faster and cheaper than new + full programming.

A used module from another vehicle can’t simply be installed and coded — it needs to be virginized first. Some platforms tolerate this, others require new.
