Spot-On Automotive Diagnostics LLC ("Spot-On," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

We collect only what we need to provide services:

• Contact information you provide when scheduling — name, phone, email.
• Vehicle information you provide — year, make, model, VIN, fault codes, service history.
• Trade-partner information for B2B clients — business name, contact name, dealership relationships (for Mercedes-Benz TRP requests).
• Web analytics — anonymized visit data via Cloudflare and Google Search Console to understand which pages are useful. No cross-site tracking.

2. How we use it

• To schedule, perform, and follow up on the services you request.
• To coordinate Mercedes-Benz TRP requests with dealerships on your behalf.
• To send service-related communication — appointment confirmations, status updates, invoices.
• To comply with NASTF Vehicle Security Professional record-keeping requirements for security gateway transactions.
• To improve our website and services.

3. How we share it

We do not sell your information. We share it only when necessary:

• With dealerships when you submit a Mercedes-Benz TRP request — we forward your part numbers and verification details to the dealership you select.
• With NASTF for security gateway transactions, as required by NASTF VSP protocols.
• With our service providers — Google Workspace (email), Formspree (form submissions), Cloudflare (hosting), Elfsight (Google reviews + Instagram embeds) — under their respective privacy practices.
• When required by law, in response to valid legal process.

4. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses minimal cookies — primarily for Cloudflare bot protection and analytics. Third-party embeds (Google Maps, Elfsight Google Reviews, Elfsight Instagram Feed) may set their own cookies under their respective policies.

5. Data retention

We retain service records for as long as needed to provide services, support warranty claims, and comply with applicable record-keeping laws (typically 7 years for tax records, and as required by NASTF VSP for security transactions). Form submission logs are retained for 12 months after the inquiry.

6. Your choices

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by calling (210) 439-7905.
• Ask us to correct or delete it — same number. Some records (e.g., NASTF VSP transactions) must be retained under law and cannot be deleted on request.
• Opt out of marketing communication — we don't currently send marketing email. If we ever do, every message will include an unsubscribe link.

7. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
