Terms & Conditions.

These terms govern your use of services provided by Spot-On Automotive Diagnostics LLC ("Spot-On," "we," "us," "our"). By scheduling, requesting, or receiving services from Spot-On, you agree to these terms.

1. Services we provide

Spot-On provides advanced automotive diagnostic, programming, and component services including but not limited to module programming and coding, ADAS calibration, key and immobilizer services, EEPROM and module repair, EV/hybrid diagnostics, and remote J2534 programming. Service delivery varies by service track:

• Vehicle owners (retail): by appointment only at our shop located at 4715 N Stahl Park, Suite 105, San Antonio, TX 78217. We do not dispatch mobile service to individual vehicle owners.
• Trade partners (B2B): mobile dispatch across the San Antonio metro (20-mile travel radius included; $2.50 per mile round-trip beyond), remote programming across the US and Canada, and mail-in bench service.

2. Appointments and scheduling

All vehicle owner appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling (210) 439-7905 or submitting a request through the schedule form. We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or terminate any service appointment at our discretion.

3. Fees, payment, and diagnostic charges

Diagnostic fees apply regardless of repair outcome. We will provide an estimate before beginning any chargeable work and will not proceed with repairs beyond initial diagnosis without your authorization. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other terms are agreed in writing.

4. Mercedes-Benz TRP requests

Mercedes-Benz Theft Relevant Part (TRP) requests are coordinated under our NASTF Vehicle Security Professional (VSP) credentials on behalf of trade partners only. We verify part numbers against the dealership invoice at time of checkout but are not responsible for incorrect, missing, or damaged parts identified by the submitting party or by the Mercedes-Benz parts department.

5. Programming, cloning, and module work

Module programming, cloning, EEPROM modification, and security gateway access are performed in accordance with manufacturer-authentic procedures and applicable NASTF Vehicle Security Professional protocols. You represent that you are the lawful owner of, or authorized agent for, the vehicle and modules submitted for service. We reserve the right to refuse any work that cannot be verified as lawfully authorized.

6. Warranty and limitations

Spot-On warrants workmanship on services performed for a period of 30 days from the date of completion, unless a longer period is required by applicable law. This warranty does not cover parts (which are subject to their manufacturer's warranty), failures resulting from prior or subsequent work performed elsewhere, damage caused by misuse or accident, or components not directly addressed in the service performed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spot-On's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to services performed shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Vehicle storage and abandoned vehicles

Vehicles left at our facility for more than 30 days after completion of services, or after notice that services cannot be performed, may be subject to storage fees and ultimately disposed of in accordance with Texas Occupations Code Chapter 2303 and related statutes governing abandoned vehicles.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Spot-On harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your misrepresentation of vehicle ownership or authority, (b) your use of the vehicle following service, or (c) your violation of these terms.

9. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
